Patrick really knows how to whip up some killer margaritas that added a special touch to our party. The bar, established in 1780, had such a cool vibe and was definitely not your average spot. Sitting outside by the canal on a sunny spring day was just the cherry on top of a fantastic experience. The prompt and friendly service, along with the delicious crab cake and onion rings, made it a meal to remember.

Excellent pub / bar food large quantity, nice price. Great "PEACH ISLAND ICED TEA !" The 2 bar keeps were GREAT and FRIENDLY / PLEASANT. Highly recommend !!! Entertainment was excellent. The "Hole in the Wall ALE / LAGER / ? was something I will come back for.

Chesapeake City is my hometown, and I have eaten at the Bayard House and the Hole in the Wall and the Umbrella Bar in the past several times. But I have to say that my last two visits there have been the most enjoyable! The food was amazing. We had entrees from the dining room menu one night, and then from the bar the second night. Both meals were 5 stars, and the views and ambience are both spectacular!
