The ribs were falling off the bone, bursting with flavor, and every bite of the sides-from the creamy mac and cheese to the perfectly seasoned string beans-was pure comfort on a plate. Though the wait was long and the elusive banana pudding always sold out, the soulful taste and generous portions made every minute worthwhile, leaving me eager for the next visit.
