Rico Api y pasteles offers delicious food at great prices, especially their "completo" with one Api and two pasteles de queso. I love coming here for lunch to pick up saltenas, which are always full and bursting with flavor, and the chicharrón is the best in the area. While the service can be a bit slow due to limited staff, the friendly atmosphere and tasty offerings keep me coming back for more.

The Bolivian food is delicious when is well prepared and with good service.
We were there by lunch time, there was only one table with a guy. So the waitress immediately took the order before sitting. We ordered the menu of the day, soup and silpancho and api con pasteles. But after 40 min wait or so, the waitress came with part of the order. Then after other 30 min she comes with again part of the order. I have to tell her "excuse me Im still waiting for the second, the silpancho" My apatite was completely gone. She was not apologetic at all. Service was simple awful. The soup was so simple most watery and with a piece of chicken that it was definitely old! The fries of the silpancho were soaked in oil and burned. How did they serve these burned potatoes? The rice was the cheapest type. Considering that my husband's last experience was similar, he had pike macho and the meet was stale, and full of spices. This is not pike macho. It was gross. The only good thing there is the api con pasteles. I do not come back to this place. Unfortunately they make but reputation for Bolivian cuisine.

El servicio es pobre. Parece que las meseras no tienen un buen entrenamiento. Las veces que he estado ahi siempre hay nuevas sin experiencia. Pedi un pique, me trajeron todo frito incluyendo la ensalada que viene encima- no me dieron la opcion. Su carne estaba oliendo mal, le pusieron mucho condimento para tapar lo mal que estaba. Casi me voy sin probar pero pude comer solo las papas y el chorizo barato.

No recomiendo este lugar. Este comentario debi poner hace unos meses!
