I had been searching for a bakery that made rum cake like I remembered as a kid. Monteleone's was the only one I found and they are so reasonably priced. I have driven the hour+ several times for them. I wish they mailed them frozen! Unfortunately I have been trying for a wek to order another, and I have not been able to get through by phone. Someone told me they are closed permanently. Please say it isn't true!!!!

I Love this bakery so much I always go when I'm in town. But this time I was so 😢 sad when my eclairs taste like hard bricks and I had to threw them away 😭

This is a great bakery, I used to live across the street from one of the bakers in Jersey City, they still No. 1 in my book, I can't wait to go back in March for the St. Joe's pastry.

Been going here for over 40 yrs. Now I am disabled and find it hard to get around. They should really have delivery and accept debit cards.
