This brand of bread will always hold a special place in my heart as it brings back memories of my mother. I remember how she used to buy the "Pan De Manteca" from the bodega on Amsterdam and 93rd street, and we would enjoy it together with her over easy eggs and Cafe Bustelo. The aroma and taste of the bread always reminded her of Puerto Rico, and I miss those simple breakfast moments that we shared.
