Food extremely good. The Yakisoba is incredible, and the sushi is top notch. My favorite is the Dragon roll, it was so good that my wife even liked it, and she doesn't normally like sushi. One thing: I would recommend ordering for take-out instead of dining in. The atmosphere doesn't suite the food quality. It's not great.

LOVE THIS PLACE! Used to be known for their delicious Yakisoba ---seriously yummy noodles! and have since added a delicious selection of sushi! Now I have to stuff myself with BOTH every visit and I usually wind up with a box for later. Portions are generous --- shared two rolls and one order of noodles with a friend (including salads) and had more than enough food for both of us. Staff is friendly and fun, food is savory, flavorful and crave-inducing. I have to stop for a Monster Roll at least once a week---regardless of the drive. Try the ginger salad -- it's not pretty but it's great on the taste buds and a veggie 'soba and finish with a Monster. Take a Crunch Roll for later! BEWARE the parking lot -- steep grade will remove the undercarriage of your car -- but park at the bank and walk over or after hours at the post office. "hole in the wall' food is always the best -- and this is no exception! YUM YUM YUM! (I gotta go get a roll now!)

Food was excellent. Yes this is a small neighborhood restaurant, not fancy but very friendly, service is fine. If it is not what the previous post called not authentic, that is his opinion, all other customers are grateful they are here. Parking lot is always full. Look forward to the meal each time we go.

Oh I love this place!!! it is a hole in the wall with little seating , no atmosphere, and AMAZING FOOD. the building is old and run down but the kitchen is clean the waitress is friendly. The cabbage salad with the tart and tangy ginger dressing is VERY good. I have never left this place hungry and the prices are good and that is saying something for me because I am Cheap! Try this place you won't regret it!

Sorry to say this was the worst Japanese food I've every eaten. The miso had no flavor, the rice was not Japanese rice (it's texture was similar to Uncle Ben's instant rice), there's no sushi on the menu, and our waitress was unfriendly and had NO knowledge of the food she was serving. She told us she has never tried miso soup. The building was dirty and uninviting. Save your time and money.
