I have been going to the 33rd Street Wine Bar for years. Candace was so pleasant and still is. The wine is excellent and varied. After a long awaited reopening, the feel is different. It's no longer that quiet ambiance, subtle place to stop in with a friend and have a deeply personal experience. I understand that making up for lost time and revenue is important and appealing to larger crowds, but often times it's noisy and has lost that ambience. I feel like she's sold out to crowd pleasing and has no longer separated herself from the other restaurants on the street. It used to be a comforting change, now it's all the same. Bring it back. It used to be a haven for soft music and a wind-down from a hard day. Still hoping as it's a great place! Best to you Candice!
