Walking into this diner feels like being welcomed by family, thanks to the warm hospitality of the owner. The food and service are exceptional, especially the breakfast, which has become a weekend favorite for me. Even though it's located in a gas station, don't be fooled by appearances; the atmosphere is inviting and the community vibe is strong, with regulars and newcomers alike enjoying every bite.

Parking is horrendous and the staff of either business don't care. Took me 5 mins to k turn to leave pump. People parking there to eat. Pickups with trailers blocking the turnaround area to leave the lot before the pumps. Pay the convenience tax and just go to the travel plaza or save a buck or two at the Dollar General further up 40 you will be 100% less stressed then trying to get to these holes businesses.

Just had the catfish special at Perched Creek Cafe. It was fantastic!
