While waiting for my flight at Detroit airport, I sank into one of the incredibly comfortable massage chairs and enjoyed the welcoming atmosphere filled with snacks, coffee, and friendly volunteers who truly appreciate veterans. This cozy lounge offers a peaceful retreat with recliners, books, and even bunk beds, making it a refreshing and heartfelt haven for military members and their families.

I believe every airport should offer a relaxing oasis like the Freedom Center in Detroit. Sitting in their massage chairs, enjoying snacks, and chatting with the friendly staff made my layover much more enjoyable. I plan to contribute to support this wonderful space for military service members and veterans.
