Silver Dipper in West Lafayette offers an impressive variety of unique and delicious ice cream flavors, including some I had never tried before like London Fog and Zanzibar Chocolate. The staff are friendly and patient, creating a welcoming family atmosphere, and there is plenty of seating available both indoors and outdoors, which is perfect for enjoying a treat on a warm day. Although I wish they provided clearer signage about their sample policy to avoid any confusion, the overall experience with the creamy, rich ice cream and great service makes it a wonderful stop whenever I'm in the area.

I have fond memories of enjoying Silver Dipper during my high school days, and recently revisited the shop in West Lafayette with my family. The ice cream remains delicious, and I appreciated the ample indoor and outdoor seating options available. While I wish they offered free samples, I understand it's their prerogative as a business - a sign indicating their policy would be helpful to manage expectations, especially for children.
