Houghton Lake is where my partner's family has their 4th of July reunion every year. Their lake house is just a short walk from this cute ice cream shop that already holds some nostalgic memories for me. The service can be a bit hit or miss, so I recommend going earlier in the day to avoid any potential issues with closing times.

Love the custard cup, especially when they have a weekly special! Lemon, key lime,orange and others. It's a small place so be patient. Worth it😊
