The fried tacos here are absolutely delicious, perfectly crispy with a rich, authentic flavor that keeps me coming back, and the pork chili is bursting with just the right amount of spice. The chips and salsa are addictive, and the friendly, family-run atmosphere adds a warm, welcoming touch to every visit. Though I wish they were open more days of the week, every meal-whether enjoyed in the lively dining room or taken to go-is a satisfying celebration of genuine Mexican cuisine.

This spot is one of my favorites for fried tacos and the chips are just as awesome. The service is always friendly, and the atmosphere feels like family, which makes every visit special. I'm bummed they're closed on M, T, and W, but I can't wait to go back next time I'm in town!

I hadn't eaten here in a while. Ordered the burrito spread with beans & rice sides. There was no beans & rice sides. I was charged $2 extra to get the usually free chips with salsa. The soda drink $2.75. I did enjoy the burrito, chips were good, but what happened to the sides. I mean it was right there on the menu. By the time I walked out I spent $14 without the tip. Not worth it.
Now I know why only white people walked through the door this time. This is not La Fonda I remember. I will be certain to return to my old haunt down the street or completely outside this neighborhood next time I want Mexican food.
