Had a quick stop at this winery with no indoor seating. The flights were good, but the semi-sweet options seemed sweeter than the sweet ones. Limited snack choices, but we bought a bottle of Lady Slipper wine and two cute glasses. Staff were nice and helpful, making it a fun stop up north. The variety of flavors for non-grape wines was fantastic, especially enjoyed the white cranberry and pear options. Live music and great ambiance added to the anniversary celebration at the winery. A suggestion would be to offer some food options. Came across this cute winery on our way north, offering a great selection of fruit wines and with a friendly and knowledgeable proprietor. The black currant and cranberry wines were strongly recommended and turned out to be a joy. Not typically a fan of non-grape wines, but these were surprisingly delicious, resulting in a few bottles making their way back home. An adorable winery by the forest edge, worth the hour drive from the cabin. Tastings were thorough and affordable at $5 for all wines. The unique range of fruit wines, from rhubarb to blueberry to plum, offered a different and enjoyable experience. While some were sweeter than preferred, it was still a fun experience and scored some Christmas gifts too. Spent a great afternoon at Forestedge winery, starting the tastings promptly despite the crowd. Enjoyed the complimentary tastings, especially the rhubarb and black currant flavors. Had a relaxing time sipping wine on their beautiful patio with a picnic lunch. Recommend bringing food for a nice afternoon out. Purchased a few reasonably priced bottles to enjoy at home. Overall, a fantastic way to spend the day in lakes country with a great variety of fruit wines on offer.
