The food truck formerly known as the City Commission of Lawrence has now rebranded as The Purple Carrot food cooperative, maintaining their familiar menu and friendly service. I recently enjoyed a delicious black bean and brown rice bowl from their booth at the Thursday's Farmer's Market, complete with fresh greens, flavorful cheese, and a hint of spicy sauce - it was just what I needed. Despite their limited visibility at the market, I hope The Purple Carrot continues to thrive and succeed with their tasty offerings.
