Tucked inside an old train depot with smoke wafting through the air, this BBQ joint serves up ribs that fall off the bone with just the right amount of tender, smoky goodness-so good, I barely missed my homemade sauce. Between the half chicken that stays juicy and the friendly, efficient staff juggling a packed house, it's the kind of place that makes you want to linger over big plates, great tunes, and maybe even a ghost tour across the street.

This morning in the Gainesville,Florida Sun there was an article about KC BBQ. I have written the author of the article and my commentary is as follows:
"KC BBQ is good, however serious, repeated taste tests over the years has pr oven to me the very best BBQ in the Kansas City Area is found in Excelsior Springs, Mo. at the Wabash BBQ.
The Wabash BBQ isn't far from Kansas City and the experience is well worth your time.
