Aviator Pizza and Drafthouse in Elgin offers delicious, flavorful pizzas with fresh toppings and a crust that has a pleasant yeasty bite, complemented by a variety of tasty brews and sides like wings and fresh salads. The atmosphere is rustic and family-friendly, featuring multiple TVs for sports and attentive cleaning that maintains a welcoming environment, though service can sometimes feel a bit self-service and staff not always highly engaged. Their lunch specials, such as the Italian grinder sandwich with pit-smoked potato salad, provide excellent value, and the overall quality of food and consistency keeps me coming back.
