My family and I swung by Lil Orbits last Thursday and boy, are we glad we did! We indulged in a dozen cinnamon and sugar, powdered sugar, and s'mores mini donuts - trust me, we're not pigs, just love our treats! These little orbs of freshly fried deliciousness had a delicate crisp on the outside and were soft inside, reminiscent of fair treats. Located in Mercado de Los Cielos, nestled in Desert Sky Mall, these doughnuts are worth the hunt - and only a dollar each! It's a shame to hear about the hurdles the owner faced to open shop, but for these doughnuts, I'd brave any heat wave to get my hands on more.
