Texas Rose is my new favorite spot, no doubt about it. It used to be Patrick's Pub, and I'm so glad it's still here. It's the closest bar to Lamar University, perfect for grabbing a drink and having a good time after class. With darts, pool tables, cheap beer, and a jukebox full of great tunes, it's got everything you need for a fun night out. You can smoke inside at the front, or enjoy the clean air in the spacious back room. They've been hosting live shows with some incredible local bands, so if you haven't been yet, show nights are a great reason to check out this awesome little dive bar. Just in case you didn't catch on, I absolutely love this place.
