Dinner with the family was a blast-quesadillas, salsas, and frozen margaritas that definitely don't skimp on the booze made for a festive celebration after my mom passed her citizenship test. The live music set a fun vibe without drowning out conversation, and the staff went above and beyond, even customizing a lunch-only dish for my dad's late-night craving. The only tiny hiccup was the charro beans leaning a bit too tomato-heavy, but honestly, with fajitas this good and tortillas that beat grocery store cardboard any day, I'll be back faster than you can say "¡mí¡s salsa, por favor!"

Yesterday my girlfriend drove in from Richmond, Texas so we can celebrate our birthdays together. We went to Don Ramon's. We ordered two margarita's & the waiter bought us large, we did not order large. I should have said something but did not. I told him we were both celebrating our birthdays & we did not even get wished a happy birthday. When our check came we were overcharged, he charged us for three lunches while we only had two. I went up to the bar to ask to talk to the manager & our same waiter came back. I do not know if he was the manager. Explained we were over charged & he corrected our bill. This was not the first time my bill was overcharged here. I will not go back. The food was ok but as I said this is not the first time we were over charged. My friend still wanted to leave a 16 percent tip which we did. Personally I would have left, he was not friendly & I feel he should have said happy birthday. Very disappointed. The restaurant was empty so he was not busy

First time patrons on Friday, Oct. 13, 2017. All staff were especially friendly and accomodating. Best margaritas in Cypress area, and we've sampled quite a few! Red and green salsas were tasty! Queso with fajita meat was okay - a little bland, needed to be warmed up a bit. Shrimp enchiladas were good, not excellent. Manager stopped to say hello, and the musician was fine (began about 6:15). We really enjoyed the place and are planning our next visit already!
