Marissa's enthusiasm behind the bar is infectious, and Heather's warm, down-to-earth presence truly elevates the entire atmosphere. The cold beers flow freely, accompanied by delicious pizza and occasional tamales, while friendly bartenders like Shelby make every visit feel like catching up with old friends. With games, great music, and a welcoming crowd, this neighborhood haunt offers the perfect blend of comfort and camaraderie that keeps me coming back again and again.

The Base Line, located just outside Fort Sam Houston off Harry Wurzbach @ Burr Road, is a friendly neighborhood bar that may be considered a "dive" by some. The bar offers cold beer, friendly service, and a variety of games such as pool, trivia, and darts. The atmosphere is welcoming, with a mix of regulars and a go-to bartender named Shelby who is known for her excellent service.
