I highly recommend trying the Smoking Barrel in Bear Valley for breakfast or lunch, even as a vegetarian or vegan. The staff is very accommodating and made me a delicious vegetarian grilled veggie sandwich with crispy tater tots. They offer vegetarian options for all their sandwiches and salads, and they may even leave off the cheese for vegans upon request.
