The flavor of Truckee Sourdough Company's bread is absolutely divine, with a firm yet slightly crunchy texture that makes it perfect for avocado toast or simply enjoyed with butter. Despite its higher price and occasional quality inconsistencies, I find myself picking up a loaf from Raley's in Carson City almost weekly because nothing else in the Carson Valley compares. Whenever I have a piece, I can't help but dream of all the delicious possibilities it holds, from grilled cheese sandwiches to just tearing off bits and savoring it plain.
