Pete's Louisiana sausages are a must-try, with flavors like Chicken Andouille and Bayou Blend that are perfect for grilling or adding to your favorite dishes. Their move to Turner's Meats near 108th & Central hasn't stopped them from delivering the same amazing quality that keeps customers coming back for more.

I have been eating Pete's, hot links for years at least 40 years during the pandemic they were closed down on Jefferson. I would like to know if that store is still closed or have they opened it. The last time I went by there 7 or 8 months ago it was closed, and I had to go all the way to Wilmington to get some hot links.

Is Peet's still open? Did they survive the pandemic?

Being from a family of Louisiana born, I grew up on Pete's Hot Links. The flavor was the best you could find anywhere in California. For the past 4 years, the taste has drastically changed. The original flavor is no longer there and the sausage no longer has the original taste. It seems as though the recipe has been altered to contain a cornmeal or cereal filling and the spices previously used have changed. As an avid customer for over 65 years, our family is sorry to see the original sausage is no longer available. We will no longer be purchasing these links. If there are any customers out there that were purchasing these links years back, they should be able to vouch for what I say.

I've been buying Pete's for over 35 years and I'm always pleased with the links and the service plus the kitchen is always spotless, you can watch them as they make the links too.
