My family has gotten there cakes here since the 80's..I have come in over the years to get a single slice of lemon filled white frosted cake for my birthday..yummy but then last year it all changed..maybe there freshly ordered cakes and pastries are better because every time I have been in for items in the bakery case there always STALE.

This has always been my favorite bakery. I remember getting a 7 layer cake for my sister's birthday in 1964 when I was a senior in high school at Wilson High. My sister loves her birthday cake. She's been known to buy one for herself and sit down and eat it! Needless to say, I wanted the very best! As I carried in, darned if I didn't trip and the cake went flying! She scooped it out of the carpet and ate it anyway. How I miss being able to go there. I just ordered my son's favorite cake, German Chocolate, for his 49th birthday. I'm so excited they are delivering now! It may be the only thing good about the pandemic. I live in Mexico now, so I can't bake him a cake. This is perfect just like Alsace Lorraine has always been!

Their quiche is the best I’ve ever tasted, and it’s perfect to bring in for work potlucks as well, since they always have at least three or four different kinds. My personal favorite is the “ChilIi Ortega”. I also love the little single cakes. The woman who works behind the counter is always very helpful and friendly.
