This classic downtown St. Louis diner feels like stepping back into the 1950s with its vintage formica tables, red cushioned booths, and swivel stools, and the all-female staff runs the place with fast, friendly service that makes you feel like a regular. The chili-covered breakfast slinger and thin-cut breakfast potatoes really hit the spot, and the coffee cups seem to magically refill just when you need them. If you're staying near the Arch and want a hearty, no-frills meal with a warm, welcoming atmosphere, this is the kind of spot that locals love and visitors shouldn't miss.
