When I heard The Original Crusoe's was closing, we headed down to try their food and get a stamp in our Pizza Passport. The fried chicken was crispy and juicy, the salad fresh with an amazing ranch dressing, and the breaded mushrooms and toasted raviolis were delicious appetizers. Though the service was a bit slow due to being short-staffed, the staff was friendly, the portions generous, and the overall experience felt like a comforting, home-cooked meal with reasonable prices.

Upon hearing about the closure of The Original Crusoe's, I felt compelled to visit and earn a stamp in my Pizza Passport. Nestled in the heart of Dutchtown, the charming atmosphere reflects its long-standing presence since 1979. The fried chicken is a standout dish, and the service is warm and welcoming, making it an excellent choice for a hearty, casual meal.
