I had an awesome experience at this family-run winery in Paso Robles where the owners and winemakers were super friendly and welcoming. Their Spectrum Blanc blend, made from red varietals without skin contact, was unlike any white blend I've tried before, and their reds, especially the smooth 2002 Syrah, stood out with no tannin dryness. The setting is laid-back and dog-friendly, with no tasting fees, and chatting with three generations of the family while tasting their estate wines made the visit really memorable.
