Just north of Cannery Row, I found a charming bakery with a cozy, beach cottage vibe and soothing jazz playing softly in the background, which made enjoying my coffee and matcha even more relaxing. The homemade biscuit and chocolate croissant were delicious, and the carrot cake-though a bit pricey-was incredibly moist with perfectly creamy frosting, easily worth every penny. While the service was a bit reserved and the heat with some bugs near the entrance was a minor drawback, the quality of the baked goods and the inviting atmosphere have me eager to come back and try even more treats.
