I first met Volker at his family estate in Chiles Valley more than a decade ago, and recently had the pleasure of catching up with his family. The wines they produce are exceptional, a true testament to Volker's original vision and dedication. Their cabernets and Alexanders, named after his son, are among my favorites, and I was particularly impressed by the 2012 Terzetto blend - it truly stood out. If you get the chance to try a Volker Eisele wine, don't hesitate - it's a special experience worth savoring.
