I discovered this hidden bakery in San Rafael and was amazed by their delicious pastries and croissants. Despite having a gluten allergy, I couldn't resist indulging in their extra sourdough loaves and a variety of pastries that my coworkers loved. The bakery's extensive selection, friendly service, and mouthwatering aroma make it a must-visit for bread lovers in the Bay Area.

My first experience with Bordenave's was through restaurants in Marin. I would ask where they got their bread as it was always so delicious! The bakery on 4th St is now a weekly (or more than weekly) stop for our household. Best sourdough bread in the Bay Area as far as I'm concerned.
Which means, the best sourdough bread in the world! :-)
