Alvarado Street Bakery has reintroduced their original sprouted whole wheat recipe, now available as "Black Label" with higher protein and fiber content. The bread comes in both regular and thin-sliced varieties, satisfying the demand of many customers who missed the old recipe. Safeway carries the thin-sliced version, while Draeger's stocks the regular one, perfect for sandwiches and toast. Thank you, Alvarado Street Bakery, for bringing back this fantastic bread option that I enjoy every morning with a touch of jam.
