I've been on the hunt for McHenry Pinot Noir for quite some time now, and finally had the chance to visit the Santa Cruz mountain wineries during Passport season. The drive along Highway 1 was breathtaking despite the debris left by recent storms, and upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by the McHenry family and treated to a tasting of their exquisite vintages. The 2012 and 2013 Swan Clones were particularly impressive, and I couldn't resist bringing a few bottles home to enjoy.
