Visiting this vineyard felt like stepping into a charming storybook setting, especially with the blooming wisteria and the cozy historic schoolhouse ambiance. The staff were incredibly welcoming and knowledgeable, and while the wines were enjoyable-particularly the cab franc and pinot noir-the relaxed atmosphere and stunning views of the Santa Cruz Mountains truly made the experience memorable.

The vineyard next to Regale, a charming schoolhouse on a lovely property, boasts beautiful wisteria in bloom, reminiscent of a hobbit home from Lord of the Rings. I particularly enjoyed the cab franc while my husband favored the pinot; the wines were above average but not exceptional. You can opt to purchase a bottle instead of paying for a tasting, bring your own snacks, and children are welcome.
