While the coffee at Backcountry wasn't exceptional, the breakfast sandwich made with eggs, cheese, and avocado was truly outstanding. It's a friendly and relaxed spot in Paonia to enjoy a morning meal along with a cup of coffee. The small town has a few options for decent coffee, but Backcountry stands out for me, especially with their cozy alley seating and free WiFi - just be sure to plan your visit before they close at 2pm.
