I grabbed some lau lau, kalua pig, rice, and lomi salmon from this food truck, and honestly, it was some of the best Hawaiian food I've had. The owner is super friendly and makes you feel right at home, plus the portions are huge, so I'll definitely be back for more!

The lau lau, kalua pig, rice, lomi salmon, and pasteles I enjoyed for $30 were truly exceptional, bursting with authentic Hawaiian flavors. Despite the food truck's appearance, the friendly owner made the experience memorable, sharing stories and ensuring every bite was made with love, leaving me eager to return for more.

Good food.
The other reviewer fails to realize that most states/cities with a lot of visitors/tourists give discounts to locals. In Hawai'i its called a kamaaina discount which MOST places will issue to locals. That includes museums, shows, movies, hotels, restaurants, basically any and all "attractions" etc. If you've been to any place that has a large tourist industry you'd know this. If youve ever been to Las Vegas, you should have noticed the many "local" discounts they have as well. Its common practice anywhere with a tourism industry. Its incentive to keep living in a place over-run with entitled, drunk, snobby tourists... much like the other reviewer.

Tourists beware!!!! No prices are popted because this guy loves to overcharge tourists.I witnessed him charging locals one price and anyone else who thinks might be a tourist atleast 50% more .The food was of poor quality .I will not return. I will spend my money at businesses that don't insult tourists.
