The $9 "panini" didn't impress anyone, but the grilled cheese for $4-5 wasn't bad. Despite the mixed reviews on the food, the friendly people, unique turquoise jewelry, and nostalgic atmosphere made the hour drive worthwhile. I appreciate supporting local businesses like this one in Shaniko, and I look forward to returning for another double scoop of ice cream in a waffle cone from Goldie next year.
