My friends and I had a great wine tasting experience at Grochau Cellars. We ended up purchasing a bottle of their Gamay Noir. The atmosphere was charming, and we were able to enjoy a picnic outside while playing corn hole. Sara, who served us, was very friendly and accommodating. Another enjoyable visit was to the new tasting room in Amity with a stunning view of the mountains. The owner, John, shared interesting stories about each wine, and we loved the variety of options available, including multiple Pinot Noir choices and unique red blends. Despite the tasting room still being under construction, the quality of the wines made up for any lack of a fancy setting.
