Stepping into Obelisco, I was immediately enveloped by an intimate, welcoming atmosphere that felt more like sharing a fine bottle in a close friend's living room than a typical tasting room. The wines, especially their reds, are crafted with remarkable precision-each sip of the 2010 Electrum revealed layers of potpourri, marzipan, iron dust, and dried cherries, all held together by velvety tannins that have aged beautifully over more than a decade. From the elegant Syrah and merlot to the surprisingly vibrant cabernet rosí©, every pour demonstrated a deep respect for varietal character and balance, making this an unforgettable experience for any lover of bold, nuanced wines.

I was pleasantly surprised by the beautiful wines at Obelisco. The Electrum, a 2010 vintage, was a standout with its complex flavors and velvety tannins.
