I had a great time at Rue Claire with my daughters who surprised me with a visit all the way from Virginia. We enjoyed a peaceful day on the lawn, with my daughter capturing the beauty of the lavender while I painted watercolors. I left with a bunch of freshly cut lavender, a sweet gesture from my daughter. Although we had to drive to a winery for a restroom, Rue Claire's chocolate shop in the Finger Lakes is definitely the best spot for delicious truffles, especially the lavender vanilla chocolate on a stick. I received a box of chocolates from Rue Claire as a gift, and the rich chocolate bark and spicy ginger-filled chocolates were exceptional. My wife and I are looking forward to visiting this lovely chocolate shop on our next trip to the Finger Lakes.
