The greatest part about the restaurant is the food. everything tastes fresh and very well prepared, the portions are significant, and the service is fast. It is the best experience I have had with Mexican restaurant food. I highly recommend "la Favorita" on their menu of House Specialties. The salsa and chips are a free appetizer that are highly appreciated by this starving pregnant woman.
The atmosphere was a bit loud, as all the surfaces are hard and the ceiling is high. The decor was traditional, nothing elaborately different than any other Mexican restaurant. Having gone on a Friday night, the servers seemed in a terrible rush, and our server missed a simple detail in my drink request (I asked for water, no ice; I received water with ice). Despite the speed anxiety, he was very amiable and prompt to attend to our needs.
I would try this restaurant for lunch and on the weeknights to avoid the noise and rush and enjoy the truly delicious food.
