Whenever we finish a day skiing or camping around Laurel Hill State Park, we always stop by this charming little bakery known for its incredible blueberry and raspberry pies with buttery, flaky crusts. The cinnamon rolls and sour cream doughnuts are fantastic too, and the friendly staff make every visit a pleasure, even if some of the other baked goods could use a bit of improvement.

Whenever my friends and I finish up a day of skiing or camping in Laurel Hill State Park, we head over to this bakery for some delicious pies. The blueberry and raspberry pies are my absolute favorites - the crust is so buttery and flaky, and the fillings taste incredibly fresh. I also can't resist their cinnamon buns, they're just too good. The staff is always friendly and the cozy atmosphere of the shop adds to the experience.

The best cakes around until January 12, 2018 the one I bought was stale just awful, The one I bought on Feb, 23, 2018 was decorated awful but the cake was fresh whitch is what I am used to there, the one I bought today Feb, 25, is decorated beautifully, have not tasted as yet but I imagine it will be good, only had one stale one in all the years I have been buying their cakes. The one on Feb. 23, 2018 was quarter sheet with white buttercream icing and they charged me $22.00 for it, a young girl with dark hair about 12:00 on Feb. 23, waited on me. The woman today told me they are still $19.95 so I was overcharged on the one!!

I have always got fresh, delicious cakes and cupcakes from the Country Pie Shoppe in Mt. Pleasant until today, the cake was very stale, it looked beautiful but when you bit into it oh my the cake was old tasting but the icing was good as usual. This is the first time it was old stale tasting cake and I've been ordering cakes from Mt. Pleasant Country Pie Shoppe for many many years.
