Just a few minutes' drive from State College, this cozy, rustic winery with a ski lodge vibe offers an inviting atmosphere, friendly staff, a wide selection of reasonably priced wines-especially their dry reds and off-dry options like the Cab Franc, Tailgate White, Moscato, and Riesling-and spacious indoor and outdoor seating with beautiful mountain and pond views where I've enjoyed relaxing tastings, bringing my own food or purchasing charcuterie, and returning seasonally for its excellent wine, warm hospitality, and serene setting.
