I've been going for birthday cakes and cupcakes for over 20 years but in the past couple of years, I noticed they changed their icing. The icing was the only reason we chose to come for those specific desserts. At first I noticed when I ordered a birthday cake and cupcakes. The birthday cake had regular ol icing like Walmart uses and the cupcakes had the thick usual great icing. I asked about it and asked if they could use the same icing on my next cake as the cupcakes and she said no. So um okay, then I order for next child's birthday and both cake and cupcakes were the regular icing like Walmart uses. I haven't ordered in a couple years due to this, but am going to try them this year to see if they changed back. If not then they no longer have my business

10/10, my family has been going to this bakery for years now, and it is still one of my favorites. When I was growing up, every year I would get a cake from there for my birthday. I still honor the tradition to this day. The doughnuts here are also amazing, I recommend the Caramel doughnuts and the Boston creme ones as well.
