My husband picked up some fried chicken after work, and when I warmed it up for our evening guests, everyone loved the juicy, crunchy, spicy chicken, along with the delicious sides like mashed potatoes with outstanding gravy and mustard-based potato salad, making it clear why we keep coming back despite the busy atmosphere and occasional wait.

My family and I have been regulars at Porters for years. We always enjoy the fried chicken, fish, shrimp, and Okra. The breading is wonderfully crunchy, and the flavors are always spot-on. The staff can be a bit cranky at times, but the food is worth every minute of the wait.
