I will not be going back to Red Robin in Des Peres, Mo..June 3rd I took family members out to dinner..service and food was fine..when I got ready to pay, I scanned my credit card at the table. It told me was unable to process I should call for a waitress, she came took my bill and ran it at the register, Monday when I checked my credit card statement it showed I was charged twice for the meals. One scanned at the table $47.62 for the meals and $9.51 for a 20% tip..and another for $47.62 for the meal and a $10.00 tip at the register..I called them on Monday talked with Joe, he said this happens a lot..and he would take care of it and call me when it had been refunded into my account..today is Wednesday, heard nothing back from him, so I called again, he told me he did his part and sent the request in and it should take 3 to 5 days to process..excuse me it shows immediately on my credit card, it has already been 6 days since their error and they are telling me it will take another 3 to 5 days, that could be 11 days to refund my money which was their error..Caitlin was a very sweet waitress, friendly and prompt, I thank her for that..but I will not ever go back there again. If they make an error you should be refunded immediately not wait 11 days!
Very unhappy with their customer service!
