During my layover at SFO international Airport, I found the USO lounge on Terminal 1's mezzanine level to be a serene retreat with spotless surroundings and exceptionally welcoming volunteer staff. The lounge offered a perfect mix of cozy recliners, a quiet area, a gaming room, and a family-friendly space, all complemented by a variety of snacks and drinks that made relaxing before my flight truly enjoyable. Although the location required navigating through ongoing construction and exiting security, the kindness and attentiveness of the volunteers made every moment comfortable and reassuring, turning a long wait into a peaceful haven.

The USO lounge in SFO International Airport received top ratings across the board for cleanliness, volunteer staff, comfort, and location. During my visit, I found the lounge conveniently situated on terminal 1, floor 3 mezzanine above the American Airlines check-in counters. The friendly volunteer staff member quickly assisted us upon entry, ensuring we had the necessary ID cards and guiding us to amenities such as luggage storage, lounge and TV rooms, kitchen, snacks and drinks, recliners, and sofas. The lounge's balance of social spaces, quiet areas, gaming rooms, and snack options made for a comfortable and enjoyable experience during our layover.
