Breakfast at Fatty's exceeded my expectations with thick, crispy bacon, flavorful home fries with grilled onions, and perfectly toasted thick bread. Despite being busy, the staff remained friendly and efficient, creating a welcoming atmosphere enhanced by the humorous signs decorating the walls. The fresh fish sandwich and outstanding fries were a highlight for lunch, and the clam chowder was absolutely phenomenal-definitely a spot I'll return to whenever I'm in Buxton.

Fatty's offers delicious food with great hospitality from the owner and quick service. The breakfast we had yesterday morning was enjoyable, with a nice atmosphere to dine in. Despite being busy, the staff worked efficiently to provide a satisfying experience.

Stopped for 4 large ice cream cones on Aug 11. Will never go back! The young man filling ice cream orders was beyond slow and seemed annoyed we were there. A young lady finally helped him fill our order. She also seemed annoyed we were there. I ordered two scoops in the large waffle cones. The ice cream in the bottom of the cone counted as one scoop. The second scoop was so small it didn't even cover the top of the cone. The price she charged me was higher than the posted price. When I questioned it she told me she is just going by what the cash register says. Slow and rude. They don't want business and will never get mine again. I am local and actually frequent that area.
