I am a senior citizen who has enjoyed fair to excellent meals at restaurants all over the world! I have been to this particular restaurant 3 -4 times in the past and enjoyed their meals. This evening I dined at Marco’s and ordered one of the specials—risotto with scallops. It was so salty, it was inedible. I like salt but nobody could possibly eat this dish. I have never complained about a meal in my life or written a review about a dinner I have bought at a restaurant. I told my waitress about the overly-salted entree and she said she was sorry and asked if I would like to take it home!

I dined with 3 others tonight and each of them was disappointed in their dinner. I feel guilty because I was the one who recommended Marcos!

We have been going to Marco's for a number of years. Typically, we love their Italian food and it's a fun date night location for us. Tonight, we went with a group, the food was below average and the owner was highly offensive. When we sat down, the first thing we asked was if we could make sure that the bill would be split between parties. The waiter told us that it would not be an issue. After our meal, which took a long while to be served, we were trying to pay our $600+ bill. The owner came up to us and told us that the bill could not be split and that we had to pay it quickly and leave. We understood the abrasive hint and tried to split up the large bill between families but it did take time to separate it. The owner raised his voice and yelled at us within ten minutes of his last check in and asked us to split the bill in the parking lot. He was not kind about it and was extremely rude. My husband and I will not be back to Marco's and we will not be giving any more money to the owner. During most of our meal, we were sitting in an empty restaurant. If the owner was so concerned about us, he shouldn't have given us a reservation.
