Translated from Italian meaning Beautiful Light, Bella Luce opened in March 2015 on Franklin Avenue in Nutley. The restaurant has a trendy yet casual vibe and offers authentic Italian cuisine. My friends and I dined here for the first time and were impressed by the dark, classy interior and well-arranged bar area dividing the dining rooms. The menu featured a variety of Italian dishes and tasty daily specials. We enjoyed starters like Crispy Calamari and Bruschetta, followed by main courses of Short Rib Pappardelle, Grilled Pork Chop, Chicken Oreganata, and Rigatoni Bolognese. The food was fresh, delicious, and well-seasoned. The service was attentive, and the owner, Joe, made sure all guests were taken care of. Amazing seafood and pasta, great atmosphere, and service. Would definitely return for a romantic night out.

Favorite pizza place in Nutley. Parking is a little tough. Feels like an old school place. Very friendly service.
