The Haitian restaurant in Essex County, where I've been a regular for over six years, offers delicious and generously portioned meals at affordable prices. My favorite dishes include the tender tassot and the flavorful rice and beans with fried goat, which always leave me satisfied. While the pickliz is served directly on the food, I prefer it on the side, but that small detail doesn't detract from the overall dining experience at Denise. The cozy atmosphere and friendly service make it a great spot for enjoying authentic Haitian cuisine without breaking the bank.
